Really good food. We ordered a ton, so it was a bit pricy that way. I had a spinach dish that wasn't awesome, but everything else was good. Even my 4 year old enjoyed it.
They take card and have bathrooms.

Ristorante arredamento secondo lo stile indiano, personale gentile e disponibile a spiegazioni e consigli. Week end meglio prenotare. Consiglio di affidarsi al proprietario e non prendere molte cose alla inizio. Salsa piccante molto forte

Situated on the busy SS13 in Fontanafredda, Ristorante New Punjab is a bustling Indian restaurant specializing in curries and tandoor cooking. The Indian food here is a great respite from the endless pasta/pizza fare you get in Aviano. Spice gives this restaurant an edge over neighboring food palaces in the area.

I had the Lamb Vindaloo, lemon and coconut rice, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. The Vindaloo is a spicy lamb curry with potatoes. Vindaloo itself is supposed to be BLAZING hot but at New Punjab it is about a 2/5. I asked the waitress to really put some heat into it and it came out pretty spicy, about a 4/5(making me sweat a good amount). The lemon and coconut rice is of the basmati variety and it created a earthy coconut aroma at the table. The Garlic naan was a quartered warm flat bread that only hinted of garlic. To calm my heated tongue, I nursed a lassi, a thick yogurt drink infused with mango. All the food was great, albeit somewhat expensive. I paid 23 euros for all that and a beer.

Overall, this place is really a treasure to the area’s food scene, mainly because of how different the cuisine is. It’s only 15 mins away from Aviano town center and there’s a pretty good gelateria across the street. Highly recommended.

Buonissimo

Overpriced! I ordered the lamb rogan josh to take out. It was more sauce than lamb. There were 5 tiny pieces which for £13.50 is way too expensive. I had been there before a few years back and didn't have any problems but I don't think that they are the same people running it now. Will not go back again as when I call to tell the staff , they didn't seem particularly bothered or sorry.

Second time coming here. We got the chicken vindaloo and asked for extra spicy which the waiter described as 6 chilis. That stuff was amazing and messed us up. We couldn't finish it but it was a hell of a ride.

Molto caratteristico e buono

È la prima volta che assaggio la cucina Indiana, comunque mi è piaciuta, indicata per persone che amano i cibi molto speziati e piccanti, ma non all'accesso, particolare l'utilizzo di piatti e bicchieri in acciaio, inoltre le cameriere sono state molto cortesi e mi hanno fatto sentire immediatamente a mio agio.
I prezzi sono nella norma e le porzioni adeguate.

The curry here was SO good but they prefer you pay with cash. It was easy to find, easy to order, and fast to serve.

Delicious indian food and a friendly, fast service. Our group enjoys it every time we go. Make sure you make reservations on the weekends because it can get busy.
