John Salotti: Beware! I highly recommend people avoid Budget/Avis in general but especially stay away from Sicilian locations specifically. At best the staff is negligent, at worst they are downright dishonest. I confirmed the full price of my rental twice with the representative prior to signing my rental agreement at pickup. After dropping off, an additional €70 surcharge was charged to my card. They also charged me €15 for fuel despite my returning the car with a full tank of gas and providing the customer service representative with the receipt from the refill. It took 4 weeks and countless emails to get the fuel charge reimbursed and they are still refusing to refund the unauthorized surcharge. They “apologize that the agent mistakenly omitted the charge from the rental agreement but are unable to waive it”. Ultimately what this means is Avis/budget is going to have you agree to a rental price then charge you whatever it wants regardless of the initial agreement you sign. Do yourself a favor and go with any of the other rental agencies.

Mente Superba: In questa agenzia mi hanno addebitato in fattura € 50,62 in più rispetto al contratto di noleggio ... ho in corso la richiesta di rimborso fatta al servizio assistenza clienti della HERTZ. Posterò l'esito.
A proposito ... mi sono rivolto all'assistenza clienti perché in questa agenzia la gentilezza è finita quando ho rappresentato il problema.

Alla prima richiesta di rimborso mi hanno scritto che la fattura era giusta, alla seconda (in cui ho detto che li avrei denunciati per truffa e appropriazione indebita, nonché di pubblicità negativa su tutti i siti di recensioni e anche trasmissioni televisive) la HERTZ mi ha restituito i soldi.
Comunque in questa agenzia non mi vedranno più... gente incapace e incompetente, tra l’altro il furgone che mi hanno dato puzzava di letame e l’ho dovuto pure spazzare all’interno perché era sporco di terra.
