Pessimo . .non si mangia bene e sono anche cari. L'unica cosa carina è la posizione ma sinceramente andate a mangiare al McDonald che è meglio.

wonderful views and friendly service are the highlights here, plus the convenient proximity to the upper funicular station, of course.
the food here is good, but being asked if i would like parmesan and then having it already sprinkled over my food - instead of receiving it in a container at the table - is rather stingy, especially considering this small dish on the photo costs €18,50 - thus demanding a quite generous customer.

Chiediamo un caffè e ci dicono che fanno solo servizio pranzo. Il tutto con una cameriera che stava facendo i caffè davanti a noi. Fate ridere. Spero che la cucina sia migliore della maleducazione dei dipendenti.

Spectacular view!!! Extremely kind and wonderful service. Very clean and inviting place, just steps from the funiculare. Totally worth a ride up.

Per 3 porzioni di risotto e 3 te chi hanno fatto pagare 93€ e troppo caro non vale lappena non abbiamo avuto la posibilita di vedere nemeno i prezzi perche era tardi , non ci ha portato il menu, ci ha detto che ce solo risotto a quell ora veramente deludente lo sconsiglio

Location molto molto bella e suggestiva, si vede tutto il lago ed in lontananza le maestose Alpi. Il locale è molto carino e ben curato, la proprietaria gentilissima e competente ci ha proposto un fuori menù da leccarsi i baffi. Abbiamo mangiato polenta e cervo alla ciliegia, tagliata e malfatti alla zucca. Abbiamo bevuto un vino sempre consigliatoci davvero buono.
Devo dire che ci siamo trovati non bene ma benissimo!

Il mio risotto era in ritardo di qualche minuto e ben 2 camerieri più il cuoco si sono scusati per l'attesa (attesa di cui è valsa la pena).

The view and the pasta were amazing!

We were unable to get a table with a view and which was the whole purpose of having lunch here (although two tables were available). They sat us at the end which ended up being near the restrooms and you could smell every bit of it. Food was fine, but for the price we paid we were very disappointed overall. Unless you can secure a table with a view, I would recommend going elsewhere and saving your money.

Extremely rude staff. We never had the chance to have a meal because we felt so unwelcome with our 11 month old that we decided to leave and go elsewhere. When we left the server lady gave so much attitude and a massive eye roll. I was honestly shocked! The restaurant was probably less than half full. It would have been fine if they said from the start that children were not welcome but they did not and instead proceeded to treat us terribly. Avoid with children!!!

I piatti nn fanno impazzire, porzioni discrete e senza troppa immaginazione per l'impiattamento!
Per quanto riguarda i prezzi, si paga il panorama stupendo non di sicuro il cibo!
Nn ci tornerei e non lo consiglierei..

It was strange to had refuse of service because we would like coctails without food... It was 30 minutes to close the "restourante" and I saw a free table. So strange...

A very cute place with nice food. We were hoping for just a light salad or sandwich for lunch, but since they didn't have that I had a little pasta with fresh water fish and my wife has the vegetables with cheese. Both were very good. The wine was good too!
The view is special and the nice thing about this place is that it is off of the main traffic area so it was quiet and the view is probably better than most other spots.

A special restaurant close to the top of the Funicular. Food was amazing and views spectacular.

Orribile! Evitare please! Ci sono altri ristoranti a pochi metri che non trattano clienti a pesce in faccia. Anzi, nessuno sano di mente lo farebbe ma qui siamo al caso clinico avanzato. La unica fortuna di questo posto é la funevia che scarica 40 persone ogni quarto d'ora. Accoglienza orripilante. Il cafone che ci ha ricevuti, non so se era il proprietario o gestore ci ha urlato addosso. Mai e poi mai mi é successo andare via da un ristorante, scappando via per il disgusto. Il genio ha cercatori d'infilarci noi quattro a un tavolino minuscolo (quelli metallici da terrazzo) e quando il mio compagno ha avvicinato quello libero accanto é arrivato come una furia urlando "così tu fai a casa tua!". Povero si era scusato subito, sorridendo (non parlava nemmeno bene l'italiano!) però questo individuo ha continuato a urlare la stessa frase tirando il tavolino maledetto da parte. Non ci credevamo davvero, ancora adesso mi sembra surreale quella scena. A questo punto lo abbiamo mandato dove meritava e siamo usciti fuori. La gentaglia così merita solo di fallire, perché non capisce chi gli paga la pagnotta alla fine del mese. Deve cambiare il mestiere se non ha la minima empatia con la gente che viene da lui e viene pagando! Un semplice "scusa, ci penso io" o "aspetta un attimo, così non mi quadra" avrebbe risolto tutto! Però no, ha scelto di sbraitarci addosso come un pazzo. Spero che la pacchia finisca presto per il cafonazzo, intanto una vagonata dei clienti la perderà eccome.

Woman was extremely rude. Told us they only serve food. Didn’t give us the option of having drinks and possibly having appetizers. When we left she came out after us to be further insulting. Not worth going to. Bad manners. Not sure what kind of business isn’t in the business of making money.

The food is traditional and very tasty. The location is beautiful as well.

Amazing food and service and an unbelievable view!

Nice view but service is very rude. Wanted to have a drink and food and start with starters but were told we have to order everything in one go and the waitress left again till we would make our decision.

Great food, magnificent view, manager was kind and competent, but the rest of staff not so much (like after appetizers they have put the dirty cutlery on the table instead od bringing fresh ones). Quite expensive, but quality/price ratio acceptable.

What a lovely, if not ignored, place just a few steps from the cable car. While everyone else is fighting to get a table at the first cafe they see (can't fault them, can't comment) or the "fancy-pants" joint on the other side (no reservation? Full up! -well, it is a Saturday night in August...) walked up to this place at *just* the right time. An empty corner table on the terrace with an absolutley awesome view! Fresh food, crickets chirping, attentive staff. I'm honestly torn from making a great review and letting everyone know about this place... or making sure there's a table for me when I eventually return... I kindly ask you leave a table on the terrace available for my next visit, please... this is one of those memorable nights I will happily share with friends. Grazie!

Each summer while visiting Lake Como from the States, we visit Trattoria Dei Bracconieri in Brunate. The food, the service, and the view make it a must-do. Today we had the ravioli which was excellent.. The mountain cheese plate with onion jam and pear was a fun starter for our table of four, and as always, the sangria was a refresher on a hot day. One of our favorite places on (above) the Lake. See you next summer! Be sure not to miss the funicular ride to what will become one of your best memories.

The restaurant has very little options, especially for vegetarians. From the outside it also says Pizzeria but no pizzas in the menu. Really nice terrace overlooking Lake Como. However, we did not feel very welcome here as we were playing a card game and our glasses were full yet the owner still told us card games were prohibited. Don’t recommend.
