The restaurant is really beautiful and the staff was friendly. The parmigiana was really delicious really eggplant. The noodles were ok.

Locale piccolo grazioso,poche portate perciò molto curate, dolci deliziosi i proprietari gentilissimi .

Anche se il locale è piccolino il cibo è di qualità. Pesce ottimo. Il sig. Pasquale, la signora Elsa ed il loro staff attenti e bravi nel cucinare delle prelibatezze. Lo consiglio. Io ci torno!

Wir gehen immer nach Elsa wenn wir in Como sind. Ich kann das NICHT bestätigen dass das Personal unfreundlich ist, im Gegenteil. Man muss schon einen guten Witz verstehen.
Wir finden das Essen gut. Die Qualität ist ausgezeichnet. Das einzige Manko ist der Preis. Wer Soßen zum Essen braucht ist in Italien falsch aufgehoben.

Un calice di vino di due dita non é elegante: é triste. Il resto rapporto qualità prezzo insufficiente. L impressione é che cmq qualche turista entra.

The seafood pasta was very good. Very hard to fault, the big prawn cooked perfectly and very flavoursome. Looking around, most people had ordered it too. A pretty common dish in the area of Como done well.

Hübsches kleines Lokal mit feinen, typischen Klassikern, serviert von sehr freundlichem Personal - sehr zu empfehlen.

Fantastico ristorante. Serviti da Elsa in persona. Cenato con tartar di tonno. Alici marinate super fatte in casa e antipasto caldo di gamberi su un letto di rucola. E grigliata mista di pesce. Tutto una favola

Una vera delusione. Un ristorante di una certo livello che impone al sabato sera di cenare in 2 fasce orarie...quindi se prenoti alle 19 (orario quasi obbligato se hai bimbi) alle 2100 devi lasciare il posto al gruppo successivo. Ma scherziamo??? Questo lo faccio al Ristorante cinese...Inoltre proprietario assai sgarbato.

Rude old man in charge - he really was not accommodating and was very hostile.

He went to take our order for mains then once I asked for a sorbet he stormed off and scrapped whatever we had said before, until someone else had to come 5 minutes later. The man in charge refused to serve us after. I suppose he was disappointed that I didn’t want anything more, despite 3 others on our table eating large mains.

Also it was about €20 for a dish which is very overpriced for the como area. Good service would’ve compensated for this, however this was not the case here.

Would not recommend at all. Do not come here if you enjoy friendly service.

Locale accogliente, personale gentile e ottimo cibo. La scelta del menù è ampia e le porzioni abbondanti, giustificando così i prezzi leggermente più alti della media. Se dovessi ripassare da Como ci tornerò volentieri.

Ottima cucina e ottimo servizio, è una certezza da tanti anni. Dai primi piatti al dolce (eccezionale la pastiera) tutto è cucinato alla perfezione, con ingredienti freschi e ben presentati. Assolutamente consigliato.

Da quando ha cambiato gestione non è più la stessa cosa.

Alle 22.00 ci hanno sostanzialmente chiesto di alzarci perchè stavano chiudendo. Da considerare che nel ristorante c'era una cena di addio a nubilato
Assurdo.

Arrivati alle 20:55 ed alle 22:10 ci hanno detto di andar via portandoci il conto. Da premettere che non eravamo gli unici a tavola e che l'hanno detto a tutti. Food non male

Mostly mediocre food, but excellent setting and good ambiance.
The prices extremely high, refusal to give us normal, tap water to drink next to our already expensive dinner that included appetizers, main dish and a bottle of local wine (charged us 3€instead for what was clearly tap water put into a nice bottle - no lable.. no nothing on the bottle.. not even a cap came with it)

Appetizers - we had the seafood salad to share. It had shrimps and octopus on top of out of the bag, store bought, ready salad mix. The only nice twist were the pomengrade seeds and some rosted almonds. Mediocre at best.. not worth the 15€ they priced it at.

Main dish:
My husband had the mix seafood and fish fried dish (fritto misto) and in the evening he had severe stomach problems.
I had the homemade pasta filled with ricotta and fresh basil, topped with sliced tomatoes and parmesan cheese - it was a delight.. fresh, light... a joy to eat!

Local wine - decent (too strong and with a vinegary aftertaste) ... exorbitantly priced at 55€/500ml

Ambiance very cozy terrace with white table cloths and napkins, dim lights.. very romantic.

Service- it was mix. We had two ladies.. complete opposites.. one nice and smiling.. the other really unhappy to do anything.

We had an enjoyable meal here. The service was attentive and the setting in the pergola outside the front of the restaurant was really nice. We were able to get a table without a reservation.
