Nice truffle-tour and a great lunch.

Inganno totale sulla salsa tartufata, comprata di fretta perché gli amici volevano scappare via dalla sagra del tartufo di ieri in una frazione di San Miniato, poiché male organizzata e con code per mangiare interminabili!
Tornata a casa, non avendo potuto consumare il pasto, ho pensato di farmi un uovo con la salsa di tartufo. Bene, appena messa la salsa nel burro, grandi scoppi hanno colpito me e la cucina! Guardo gli ingredienti...funghi comuni, olive e 1% di tartufo, e dato gli scoppi ed il colore il liquido non sarà sicuramente come scritto olio evo ma acqua!
Indecente.

Great experience hunting for wild truffles in the forest with Ricardo and the dogs Maya and Birba. Then we had an amazing lunch prepared for us by Monica. We had a blast!

What a perfect way to see the backwoods of Tuscany and appreciate the hunt of this region's prized truffles. Owners Monica (3rd generation truffle hunter) and Ricardo were so cordial and hospitable. They had the 2 most adorable dogs that helped scout out black truffles (white truffles are not in season until November). When we returned to their home/store from truffle hunting, Monica prepared an amazing platter of truffle appetizers, followed by the main dish of pasta and truffles. But a surprise dish of truffle on egg with cream was the ultimate. Definitely sign up for both the hunt and lunch. One of the top highlights of our trip in Italy.

Great Tour that I highly recommend. Ricardo took us on a hike with two of the dogs, Bilba and Maya. We were lucky enough to find 4 or 5 truffles during our hike. When we got back Monica had prepared us a 3 course lunch with a variety of dishes infused with truffle. After, you can buy from a wide variety of homemade products that are very affordable.

Se volete tartufo fresco, prodotti al tartufo e vino dovete senza dubbio fare una sosta dalla mitica Monica. Ambiente caratteristico tanta cortesia e professionalità. Azienda che si tramanda da generazioni.

Неплохой спектр представленных продуктов. Свежие трюфеля. Замечательное место. Обаятельная хозяйка. Рекомендую к посещению. При покупке будте внимательны! Уже дома после вскрытия, обнаружили, что некоторые соусы с добавкой трюфелей, были сделаны без запаха. Т.е., видимо так было задумано на этапе производства. Но для нас это стало полнейшим сюрпизом. Купить трюфеля, без запаха труфелей... Нонсенс! Будте внимательны!!! Кстати из понравившегося в асортименте, был сыр гарганзола с трюфелем. Определённый интерес представляет колбаса с трюфелями. И самое неожиданное - это конфеты с трюфелями. Рекомендую место к посещению. К тому же там всегда можно купить прекрасный подарок дря друзей и близких из поездки в Италию.
