The stone cooked chicken deserves 10 stars, I rarely had such a delicious piece of meat.

During the summer one of the best loacation in Lucca area to spend a dinner outside with some cooling breez. I would suggest Bistecca alla Fiorentina, Grilled Chicken or Pork Ribs ("Rosticciana"). Do not forget to try french fries.

Der Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wir waren heute deb Tag in Lucca und wollten zum Mittagessen ins Vipore. Gatten vorher für Mittags reserviert. Der Chef des Hauses war sehr nett. Das Lokal, insbesondere die Terrasse ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dss stört aber nicht und passt zum Charme. Das Pollo alla brace wsr wie zu erwarten sehr gut. Auch bei den Ppmmes wurde im Führer nicht zu viel versprochen. Pollo 16 Euro, Pommes 6 Euro. Dazu Vino und Wasser und am Ende Cappuccino. Aöles zusammen 70 Euro und das war es uns vollkommen wert. Gerade die Pommes die mit den Kräutern frittiert werden waren mal was neues. Auch das Hähnchen, das plattiert und von beiden Seiten gross angebraten ist schmeckte sehr gut nach Rosmarin. Das ganze wird rustikal auf dem Holzbrett serviert. Fazit: Schöne Abwechslung, netter Service gutes Essen. Im Navi nicht due Straße eingeben sondern ujter Sonderziele dad Restaurant eingeben

Tipico locale dove assoporare piatti toscani. Servizio attento. Primi e secondi buoni. Prezzi medio alti e seconda chance da dare al dessert. Posti a sedere interni e in terrazza, peccato manchi un vista sul panorama, locale un po' vecchiotto.

Abbiamo preso 2 bruschette, 3 primi, acqua e cafe per 2 persone .... con un conto salatissimo di ben 71 EURO !!!!!!! Una rapina !! Locale vecchio dentro e nel terrazzo niente di speciale. Prezzo/qualità non ci siamo!!! Ve lo sconsiglio....

Entspannte Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse. Blick über Lucca durch Vegetation eingeschränkt aber trotzdem schön. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich. Essen war durchweg gut.

Posto piacevole cibo ottimo.

Location caratteristica, il ristorante dispone di una pre-sala con alcuni tavoli e di una sala principale molto bella con camino al centro. Cibo ottimo, soprattutto il pollo alla brace e alcuni piatti tipici della cucina toscana e lucchese in particolare. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità del cibo. Limitata scelta dei vini ma quelli proposti sono all'altezza del locale, il vino rosso andrebbe fatto decantare per apprezzarlo al meglio. Il proprietario spicca per gentilezza e preparazione, in sala è presente anche una signora sempre attenta e sufficientemente gentile.

Ristorante Vipore, un tipico locale immerso nella natura, un oasi di pace e relax. La cucina un' eccellenza, dagli antipasti al dolce un percorso di gusto che lascia il segno. Consiglio questo posto a chiunque cerchi il vero sapore toscano

Instead, the BESTEST french fries (with garlic and herbs) i’ve ever tried in my life.

Goede gegrilde kip, lekkere frietjes, lekkere pasta, mooie salade en gegrilde groenten. Gezellig op terras eten samen met lokale mensen. Aan te bevelen.

Bel locale rustico con tavoli in marmo e ambiente gradevole, sia all'interno che nella bella veranda. Il menu offre piatti della tradizione di Lucca, in particolare sono eccellenti la rosticciana, le rovelline e le patatine fritte, aromatizzate con rosmarino e salvia. Ottimo vino della casa (però 12 Euro mezzo litro). Unico handicap il prezzo: coperto 4 Euro, primi a 12, secondi (non elaborati) a 14, vino 12 Euro...un pasto almeno 50-55 Euro per piatti ben fatti ma anche molto semplici.

Ristorante rustico in collina con menù tipico della zona. Propone una buona rosticciana (costine di maiale) alla brace con patatine fritte assolutamente deliziose. La nota dolente è il conto, decisamente sproporzionato per una cucina "povera" seppur gradevole. Mezzo litro di vino della casa (sfuso) costa 12euro, 4euro il coperto. Alla fine 80euro per un primo, due rosticciane con patatine e un gelato (appena passabile e sicuramente industriale) con il mezzo litro di vino sfuso e acqua minerale.

Il paesaggio che lo circonda è bellissimo... l interno del locale non è modernissimo... il cibo è tipico toscano non eccellente ma buono.. l unica cosa è il prezzo... secondo me veramente troppo caro per quello che ti offre! Un coperto 4€... un pezzo di dolce 7€... in 4 si è speso 93€ senza aver mangiato niente!

Wunderschönes Restaurant. Der Besitzer bedient die Gäste persönlich und ist immer sehr freundlich. Jedesmal eine freude in diesem Restaurant zu essen. Im Sommer ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert. Geheimtipp ist Pollo alla bracca.

Food was o.k but a bit overprized, the wine was so-so and not worth the money. Service was ok. Nice views at the terrace inside not that nice.

Se andate a pranzo godrete anche del panorama sui bei colli lucchesi.
Ristorante adatto a chi vuole assaggiare i tipici sapori rustici toscani. Antipasti della tradizione, primi saporiti e ottime carni.
Purtroppo devo dire che l'attesa è stata davvero lunga: 2 ore per mangiare antipasti e una portata. Questo fa calare le stelle da 4 a 3. Comunque lo consiglio.

A hidden gem in the hills around Lucca, amazing view and delicious food. The restaurant is not very easy to find, especially since some GPS navigators don't have the correct address, and phone reception on the way is almost absent. Anyway, the street is pretty easy and it's almost impossible to get lost: keep going and you'll get there :) When we arrived we were amazed by the quietness and the view on the city. We decided to stay outdoor, and fortunately we had some mosquito repellent as there were a lot! Everything we ordered was very good, but the highlight was a grilled rosticciana, simply awesome. I can only recommend having dinner at Vipore and I will definitely be back next time I am in Lucca.
