Positif: La piscine à débordement est fabuleuse et la vue aux alentours est splendide. L'endroit est très reposant, au sein d'un écrin de verdure. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques. J'ai apprécié le service "pains ou croissants" disponibles à la réception dès 8h15 sur réservation la veille. La mise à disposition (gratuite) de 2 machines à laver le linge et d'un séchoir électrique est très appréciable..

Positive: We loved the idyllic country stay at Borgo del Sole, very relaxing, beautiful river for swimming, great walks and welcoming hosts. Spacious and well equipped accommodation, lovely kitchen and amazing pool area overlooking the valley. Walking distance to the station with easy connections to explore surrounding villages, very good pizza restaurant in the village itself. Authentic Tuscan country stay at its best..

Positiv: Omgivelserne er fantastiske. Meget frodigt og i gåafstand til flod, hvor man også kan bade. Værtinden er utroligt sød og hjælpsom. Man er midt i naturen og der er en vidunderlig ro og fred. Negativ: Det kunne trænge til nogle forbedringer. Plettede, revnede vægge rundt omkring i boligen, gamle møbler, inventar i køkkenet trænger alvorligt til en udskiftning. Meget lydt fra boligen nedenunder.

Positif: Personnel super sympa, propre. Négatif: Wifi faible.

Positive: Beautiful location, isolated place, river in the backyard. Very calm, the air is super fresh. Still, close to the main road, Lucca and Pisa are about an hour drive. Host is very friendly and helpful..

RIPETUTA LA VACANZA 2017 - 2019 E da ripetere tra 2 anni . Piscina ottima di ultima generazione .....voto 10. C'e' la possibilità di scendere dal "borgo del sole" percorrendo circa 250 metri e arrivare al Torrente sottostante e bagnarsi nelle acque cristalline e fresche, esperienza certamente unica.

Positive: Per chi cerca relax, struttura dotata di molti servizi, noi purtroppo siamo rimasti solo una notte per visitare la Garfagnana nel week end (per il periodo estivo è possibile usufruire anche della bella piscina). Negazione: Niente tutto ok. strada di accesso per arrivare alla struttura molto stretta ma fattibile.

Positiv: Tolles Apartment mit Pool im Val D'Orcia. Wunderschön, um den Sonnenuntergang im Restaurant zu genießen oder mit selbst gekochtem Essen auf der Terrasse zu entspannen..

A wonderful stone farmhouse by the river on the outskirts of town (walking distance to Il Grotto restaurant and the railway station), very peaceful and relaxing. The owners are very helpful. A good area to explore if you have a car.

Unglaublich tolle, gemütliche Unterkunft in der Natur. Super nette Gastgeberin und der Blick vom Pool aus in die Landschaft ist ein Traum!
Unbedingt bei der Anfahrt den Weg von der Hauptstraße auf die "Via della Stazione" nehmen. Die anderen beiden Zufahren sind sehr eng. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, das nächste Mal aber mindestens eine Woche!

Positiv: Das Haus ist wunderschön, ruhig und gemütlich. Alles ist kinderfreundlich, man kann z.B. einen kleinen Ausflug an den Bach machen. Es gibt tolle Eidechsen zu beobachten, und der Pool ist wunderschön. Wir werden mit unseren 3 Jungs (6,9,11) gerne wiederkommen. Auch in der Gegend kann man schöne Ausflüge machen.. Negativ: Die Pizzaria am Ort hat etwas nachgelassen, aber es gibt dafür jetzt einen zweites Lokal..

We stayed at this Agriturismo as a family of four, part of an organised trip with three other families. The accommodation completely surpassed our expectations - we had a huge apartment with a very large living area, well-equipped kitchen (including good-sized freezer and fridge), a balcony and a terrace to ourselves. The pool was beautifully situated and maintained with amazing views over the valley. We found the location to be good - peaceful and remote but easy to walk to the station (can get trains to Lucca and Pisa) and village (2 restaurants and very good ice cream) and lake (where you can also buy drinks and snacks). To explore the countryside further afield it would be necessary to hire a car to get around (we were transported to the national park, and to places for canyoning and climbing by our tour guide). ||The best thing about this agriturismo is the lovely family that look after you there. Alessia was so friendly and kind to us - giving us a warm welcome when we arrived and sending us away at the end of the week with home-baked cookies and cake for the journey! She cooked delicious meals for us all on several evenings, and had baked a different cake for breakfast each day (alongside bread, toast, eggs, yoghurt, cereal etc) and we really felt comfortable sitting and chatting in the shared areas with the other families whilst the children played hide and seek and football together in between the farm buildings. Alessia's hospitality was very generous and we really appreciated it.||There was even the opportunity for the children to make clay pots (and even better, they survived the trip home!) and there are also board games and books to borrow if some indoor time is needed.||Despite the temperatures being above 30 degrees each day, the temperature inside the accommodation was very cool and comfortable and we were also amazed that there was good wifi in such a remote location!||It was just over 1.5hrs from Pisa Airport by car.

Positive: Amazing location, such beauty!! Our ”apartment” was fantastic, old stone building, yet very convenient inside.. Negative: Some noise at times from farming neighbors (tractors etc).

Positive: Incastonato inn Garfagnana, quando si arriva a destinazione si scopre un insediamento antico di incredibile bellezza, ben recuperato e adatto a soggiorni di puro relax grazie anche alla bella piscina.. Negazione: Nulla da eccepire..

Positive: Location splendida, bellissimo appartamento, molto spazioso, con portico. Servizio "panetteria" su ordinazione per la colazione.. Negazione: Piccole mancanze, risolte facilmente, nell'appartamento (carta igienica, tappeto doccia, tende in bagno). Materasso troppo morbido..

Upea paikka. Hinta- & laatusuhde enemmän kuin kohdallaan.

Abbiamo passato un week end perfetto, immersi nella natura. Jacopo e Alessia, i proprietari, sono delle persone veramente gentili e ospitali.|Appartamento bellissimo, pulitissimo e con ogni confort possibile. |I bambini si sono ambientati subito, facendo amicizia con Enea e Efrem (figli dei proprietari)|sicuramente torneremo, fine giugno inizio luglio.

Positive: La tranquillità, la pulizia,la posizione fantastica. Negazione: Nulla tutto perfetto.

Un posto meraviglioso, in estate e in inverno!!

Sono stata in questa struttura con la mia famiglia la settimana scorsa!||La Struttura si presente come delle casette che insieme formano un borgo molto particolare immerso nella natura; si trova praticamente in un bosco ai piedi delle Alpi Apuane. Poco più giu scorre il fiume Serchio, bellissima passeggiata e bagno al fiume.||La struttura ha inoltre una bellissima piscina con acqua di sale, anch'essa immersa nella natura.||Il nostro appartamento (Campane) era molto molto accogliente, c'è veramente di tutto anche lo zucchero e il sale, la biancheria, la veranda e soprattutto non è uno di quegli appartamenti di vacanza stretti e striminziti.||Uniche due note stonanti (ovviamente di poco conto) sono state la presenza di insetti (tanti!!) ma ovviamente siamo nella natura e i proprietari; intendiamoci sono molto gentili e disponibili in tutto ma poco presenti, nel senso che forse per non stare col fiato sul collo agli ospiti se ne stanno molto in disparte; avrei voluto qualche info in più sui posti da visitare (che in Garfagnana sono veramente tanti!) ma non li trovavo mai....ma questo ripeto è di assoluto poco conto!||Alessia e Iacopo complimenti!!!||P.S. la nostra cagnolina è stata stra accettata

Wonderful owners, great appartments and located perfectly with beautiful surroundings.

Just booked flights to go back again to this idyllic holiday location situated in a fantastic valley just bellow the small sleepy hamlet of Villetta. Borgo del Sole has 4 apartments all beautifully converted by the owners Alessia and Jacopo. The apartments are well appointed, clean and very comfortable, each with an area to sit out and cook on a bar-b-que. ||||There is a shared pool that is well looked after and a great place to chill out and relax. In the evening you can walk up to Il Grotto, a lovely Pizzeria with tremendous views over the valley and some of the best Pizzas around. A slightly longer wall will take you to Pontecosi a small village beside a large lake.||||This is a great pl;ace to take kids who will love the nearby Buffardello Adventures Park as well as one of the local riding schools that arrange treks through the fantastic country side.

The nature surrounding Borgo del Sole in Garfagnana is absolutely amazing! Close to a beautiful river, lots of trees, many birds and an amazing view to the mountains. ||The hospitality and service is not very good unfortunately. Keep in mind that it's a countryside stay the insects and dust is expected, but the dead smashed spiders on the wall, paint falling off the walls pilling up on the floor and the dirty bathroom is not okay, not even for a inexpensive farm stay. ||We visited with our little 10 months old daughter, and the stone floor was much too cold for her to crawl on unfortunately, but we had a great crib and high chair for her which was good.

This place is situated in a valley in the most beautiful part of Tuscany and has a swimming and ideal for a total relaxing holiday, The accommodation is in four different size units and close the Railway line. The hosts are wonderful and live on site.

Dette landsted ligger langt ude med en fantastisk udsigt til bjergene. Her er ikke specielt friseret - snarere ret rodet - men utrolig charmerende og en super dejlig stemning. Meget store lejligheder. Vi boede i 'Campane', hvor vi følte os rigtig godt tilpas. Sovesofaen i stuen er ikke den bedste, men ok til mindre børn. ||Pizzariaet i Villetta er fantastisk. Nok nogen af de bedste pizzaer på denne tur... og så er udsigten fra terrassen meget smuk!

We stayed here in the countryside for three weeks in this beautiful part of Tuscany, The group of buildings is split into 4 apartments/cottages with a fantastic infinity pool. We introduced 6 friends who stayed in the eight bedroomed apartment, the cottages are all fantastic and very clean and spacious with outdoor barbeque areas and the owner also stays on site, The railway line is a short walk away and the local shop/restaurant/bar also within walking distance. We do not hire a car but travel on the local train from Pisa which takes approximately one and half hours. Alessia the owner and her family are very friendly and helpful and pick us up and take us to and from the train station with our suitcases and bring us shopping from a local supermarket on arrival. The property is a perfect place for relaxing and unwinding and we will return next year. Many Thanks Dave and Jackie
