Car was terrible, definitely a downgrade from the class I paid for without explanation, apology, partial refund...?

“Mattia N” staff clarified on the phone that it is no problem to return the car 1-2h later and I would not be charged. Upon return he charged me a full extra day, despite the earlier promise and the fact they close at 12:30h so a full extra day isn’t even possible! ALERT SCAM

Either staff get some petty commission for this behavior, they don’t care about anything (all playing on phones looking bored as hell at work) or it’s a scam branch of the franchise as previous Europcar experiences were positive for me.

They wouldn't come out with us to the car. The car had scratches and dents that weren't on the contract (even though they were plain to see). The check oil light was on and they had covered it with a piece of black tape so that we wouldn't see it. When we pointed it out they said that it wasn't a problem and told us that the oil needs to be checked every 70km. Needless to say, we didn't rent the car. Don't know what would have happened if we had... be very careful.

Très gentils et agréables, ne cherchent pas à voler le client. Ceci m'a redonné confiance dans les loueurs de voitures. Ont même accepté de garder nos bagages le temps d'une journée. Merci beaucoup !

Vermietet Schrottautos, weil angeblich kein anderes Fahrzeug mehr vorhanden ist und manipuliert die Verträge nachträglich zu Lasten der Mieter. Das hat jetzt ein Nachspiel.

I made a reservation to pick up a car at 7 am to pick someone up from the airport and even agreed upon the steep price of 130€ (100€/day + 30€ out of hour fee) for a single day. The reservation was even done in person and I was assured someone would be at the desk in the morning to arrange the pick up. I waited for more than an hour at their office before someone showed up at their normal opening hour. I could not reach anyone by phone (no one answered from the 20 times I tried the 5 different numbers) and had no way of contacting them in the morning. Despite them being too late, I still would need to pay the early morning fee if I wanted to rent a car. I obviously didn't rent one.

Definitely do not recommend.

1° premio per il peggior autonoleggio d'Europa. Servizio lentissimo, personale incompetente, irragionevole e svogliato, in particolare un certo Sig. Sebastiano.
Attenzione ai "giochetti" e alle furbate, mi hanno addebitato un danno che non avevo fatto. Controllate la macchina ogni cm, non come ho fatto io, che quando mi hanno detto che era perfetta mi sono fidato.........

Our experience was mostly positive.
The car wasn't the newest and had a few scratches before, which were acknowledged when we picked the car up and they werent a problem when we took the car back.
As someone who hasn't rented a car before and is fairly young I was a little scared to be scammed but the costumer service answered all my questions thoroughly.

The worst experience ever!!! We reserved a car online for an automatic and when we arrived to pick up our rental they didn’t have it! The proceeded to try to help and called two other rental cars for an automatic car. Neither had an automatic then told us there was nothing they could do. We were charged 1300 dollars for a car we never received. We ended up having to call our bank to have the charge removed because they were not helping us at all. I tried calling their customer service and was hung up on. Tried calling again I was told to email them because it would be faster and I received an automatic message that said they would respond within 7 business days. The customer service is the worst I have experienced! If possible, I would highly suggest going to Eurocar, which is literally just right down the road. Less than a minute drive and maybe a few minutes walk.

Reserved a car, not available. We got a smaller car our family didn’t fit in. We received a message to switch the car. When we got there nobody knew a thing. They took the keys of the car and left us on the street without any vehicle. Rude people, company is completely untrustable! The lady boss is HORRIBLE!!!

Everything was smooth. I'm giving them 4 stars because I believe they have a limited selection of vehicles. It's always a better idea to rent a vehicle from any of the major airports.

La sorpresa?

Prenotare un furgone per un trasloco per l'1 novembre scorso, regolarmente confermato con voucher dalla piattaforma on-line "TiNoleggio" per conto di EUROPECAR Filiale di Desenzano del Garda (BS) a seguito di acconto mai restituito e scoprire che il furgone NON VERRA' CONSEGNATO perchè indisponibile (la mia sensazione è che sia stato noleggiato ad un maggior ricavo).

Alla faccia del loro codice etico!

Il disagio per me e le persone che mi accompagnavano è stato reso ancor più evidente dopo la "divertentissima" battuta di spirito del responsabile: "Inutile sprecar soldi con l'avvocato"!

Inaccettabile... l'azione legale è avviata.
