CONSUMER ALERT - Romeetravel practices dishonest business practices. BEWARE OF USING ROMAETRAVEL
Please note my personal experience with this dishonest company. I booked a Day trip tour from Rome to Amalfi. Paid over $700Cdn. An error was made for the booking date (wrong date). When contacted to confirm details for the incorrect date, to which I responded prior to the cancellation deadline, the company waited to respond until after the cancellation deadline. Then once the error was discovered not only did they not honor the a change in date for the tour they refused to refund the money or accomodate a date change. The tour date was for a current date when I am not even in Italy. I merely wanted a rebook - not a refund. The company was not out of pocket but refused to honor a date change. The company is disceptive in their business practices in efforts to extort funds from customers without providing services. I warn all people not to use Romaetraval directly or via Viator. In fact, Viator did little to assist and should be equally avoided as clearly it is unable to select reputable serviice providers. As a long-time Viator user I advise to avoid this site and especially Romaetravel. They are crooks and should be ashamed of themselves. A black mark on Italian business. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. See the many reviews that site its fraudulant activities.

This place is awful did not pick us up. Had sick children and scammed us. Never pick this place to drive you.
