Va bene la zona centrale e va bene l’economicità ma al massimo di positivo avrete l’aumento delle vostre difese immunitarie. Non avrei mai scritto nulla ma non si scherza sulla pulizia, magari potrebbe essere approssimativa ma in questo caso è inesistente così come la manutenzione. Dulcis in fundo la puzza di fogna in bagno, terribile. Abbiamo cambiato subito, non aggiungo altro.

Positif: La proximité du centre historique et des restaurants. Négatif: Le personnel d'acceuil nous a demander de payer en liquide sinon il nous rajouterai 6% de plus pour un règlement en CB. Nous avons dû faire intervenir Booking pour régler le problème. Celui-ci s'est résolu rapidement après leur appel. Merci Booking!.

Negative: Rusty shower. Dirty room. Dirty towels with holes. Mould in the bathroom. Very dirty bathroom. Dirty and stinky refrigerator. It was very cold as the owners are probably saving on the bills (we stayed in March). We asked to make it warmer but it was ignored. We removed the sheets and inspected the mattress and decided to sleep in our clothes after that. It's not worth saving money and staying in this property as this will completely ruin your holiday. It doesn't meet basic hygienic standards. Also, the broken power socket raised our safety concerns..

Positive: L’unica cosa buona era la posizione.. a due passi da ponte vecchio. Negazione: Tutto!! Reception inesistente!! Richiesto disponibilità per il check-in entro mezzanotte e una volta arrivati (23:50) non c’era nessuno ad aprirci (nonostante la struttura avesse dato la propria disponibilità per quell’ora!! Abbiamo richiesto noi gli asciugamani direttamente al proprietario telefonandolo (visto che in reception non c’è mai nessuno)!! Pulizia della camera praticamente inesistente.. polvere ovunque, lenzuola logore, cornicioni delle finestre completamente sporchi di escrementi di uccelli.. insomma un tugurio!!! Mai visto niente di simile su Booking.com!!! Potrei continuare ancora ma ho già sprecato troppo tempo.

Abbiamo soggiornato per un weekend, stanza molto carina e abbastanza pulita, situato in centro a pochi passi da palazzo vecchio,||Le uniche note negative: la difficoltà nel ritrovare l’albero, posizionato in un vicoletto è mal segnalato anche fuori il portone d’ingeresso e il personale (nonché proprietari) parla difficoltosamente italiano, inoltre non sono sempre presenti durante il giorno anche se nella descrizione online era indicata la loro presenza 24h.||Questo ci ha portato a rimanere chiusi fuori due volte e a dover contattare telefonicamente i proprietari che non erano in albergo.

Positive: Camera ampia. Negazione: Tutto molto trasandato e poca manutenzione..

Positiva: La ubicación. Negativa: Segundo piso sin ascensor.

Негативный: грибок везде в ваннойтуалете (боялись трогать шторку в ванной руками!), очень плохо убирают - даже не вытирают пыль, очень навязчивый хозяин с дурными манерами (неуместно шутил, ломился в номер по незначительным причинам, был подшофе), очень плохое освящение (даже днём было прям темно), в номере было не очень приятно находиться. телевизор не работал. отопление включали на пару часов в день, было промозгло. была общая кухня, что наверное плюс, но там - так же, как и во всём отеле - было неприятно находиться и не очень прибрано, желание готовить там не было. НЕ ПОЗДНО вечером постучали в номер и попросили не шуметь, хотя не было и 11ти, и говорили мы не очень громко - мы на отдыхе, пришли домой, общались-обсуждали прошедший день умеренным голосом (видимо звукоизоляция соооовсем плохая). никому бы не посоветовали здесь жить, причём это был далеко не самый дешёвый вариант размещения..

Ik had het apartement welke erg ruim is. De locatie is super, midden in het centrum met uitzicht op de kathedraal.

Our experience at the Riverbanks was very pleasant. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the location is a stones-throw from the river Arno while not on a busy street.

Also, although we booked 3 beds in a 5 bed room, we were upgraded to a private 3 bed room at no extra charge.

Our room had a small fridge, small television, two nightstands, a spacious wardrobe, and at least three outlets (although we brought our own power strip with extra outlets so we didn't look too hard).

There was also the option to pay an additional €10 each night for air conditioning, and although we chose not to because the nights were cool, it was nice to know the option existed, as Florence can get very hot.

There is a full kitchen with plates, utensils, pots, pans, seasoning, etc, and a Conad grocery store very close by, so if you want to try your own hand at cooking, go for it!

The main attractions of Florence, like Ponte Vecchia, Palazzo Vecchio, Pitti Palace, Uffizi Galleries, etc... are all a short and pleasant walk from the hotel, and there is no shortage of places to eat or grab a gelato along the way.

The only two downsides about the Riverbanks were the small common area, which made meeting other guests less likely, and the three flights of stairs one must climb to get to the hostel, which might be a problem for some guests who cannot easily climb.

All in all, the stay was well worth the price, and if you are on the fence about booking here, I can warmly recommend giving this place a try.

I had a very nice stay at Riverbank's hostel. It's very well situated.||I have to say that I rarely had such a nice stay in a hostel, Andreia has been so welcoming and warm. ||She even cooked for me and other guests diner and took us out for a nice walking tour around Firenze!!! ||Thank you for that Riverbank's!

You pay for what you get. There are mosquitoes that come in at night. And they tell you in the website that you have to pay 10 euros for AC per day. But we we're lucky that it's cooler here despite it being June so we didn't need it. Otherwise, it's alright. A little easy to miss from the outside but very good location, and right by the river

We loved our stay here. Perfect location, great quality, and description was on point. Very authentic! I recommend anyone to experience the riverbanks hostel.

No elevator Manager bad attitude. Got upset because I asked twice how to turn on TV and he told me to use my brain. It is not a hotel is a flat converted to hotel more like R B and B.

In posizione ottima, tranquillo e silenzioso, per cui si dorme molto bene. Arredamento "particolare" ma nel complesso non dispiace. Il posto offre l'essenziale, ma il proprietario è molto simpatico. Lo prenderò in considerazione sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Firenze.

It's a small hostel with a great location. Our room was normal sized with a private bathroom for a moderate price. I would recommend it!

Dare 1 stella a questo B&B/Ostello (perchè definirlo B&B può essere solo un complimento) è anche troppo. Pessima esperienza in tutti i sensi. Purtroppo mi sono trovata a dover soggiornarci in occasione della vicinanza (poi relativa) alla sede di un evento. Expedia lo definisce un B&B, ma vi assicuro che di B&B non ha proprio nulla. I proprietari, stranieri, credo rumeni, non sono quasi mai presenti in struttura e con molta difficoltà parlano italiano e inglese. Questo comporta notevoli disagi se doveste avere delle esigenze improvvise. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare mezz'ora che la signorina tornasse in postazione per chiedere delle informazioni. Già al momento della prenotazione avevamo avuto una serie di problemi. Pensavano fosse una prenotazione per una stanza singola, invece si trattava di una stanza tripla e non riuscivano a capire in alcun modo ciò che cercavo di spiegargli a causa della loro impossibilità di parlare le lingue. A fine soggiorno addirittura, la signorina mi ha detto: "Visto che eravate in 3 e poi vi siete presentati in 2, vi faccio pagare solo per 2.". Signorina ma lei cosa dice? Non abbiamo mai effettuato una prenotazione per 3 persone. Sconvolgente.||Le camere non sono MAI state pulite durante la mia permanenza di 2 giorni. Non ci hanno mai cambiato nemmeno le tovaglie. Ci hanno dato solo 2 tovaglie grandi, una di queste aveva una macchia marrone, ho chiesto di cambiarla, la signorina mi ha detto che mi avrebbe fatto trovare il ricambio nel tardo pomeriggio. Tovaglia mai pervenuta. Abbiamo dovuto prendere 2 tovaglie piccole dall'armadio fuori dalla stanza e asciugarci con quelle anche per la doccia. Tutte le tubature del bagno sono intasate. Il piatto doccia inevitabilmente si allaga, così come il lavandino del bagno. Risulta disgustoso farsi una doccia con l'acqua alle caviglie e il soffione della doccia è guasto, non si può regolare l'altezza, quindi per me risultava davvero bassissimo. Ho dovuto lavarmi i capelli piegando le gambe. Gli angoli del bagno sono incrostati. I copriletti presentano delle macchie così come il pavimento della stanza. Una sera è mancata anche l'acqua per ben 3 ore, fortunatamente ero riuscita a lavarmi prima. Se volete l'aria climatizzata dovete pagare un plus di 10€ al giorno, una cosa per me assurda. Ciliegina sulla torta: la sera prima della nostra partenza abbiamo chiesto alla signorina di prenotare un taxi per l'indomani alle ore 6. Il taxi non è mai arrivato e la cosa assurda di Firenze è che non esisteva alcun taxi disponibile. Questo ha comportato notevoli disagi per poter raggiungere la stazione. Siamo dovuti andare a piedi con i bagagli fino alla stazione (circa 20 minuti) e solo per 2 minuti non abbiamo perso il treno. Se non fossimo riusciti a prendere quel treno avremmo perso anche il nostro aereo. Che sia stata la signorina a essere imprecisa (cosa che non escludo visto le richieste mai soddisfatte durante il nostro soggiorno ) o il tassista che probabilmente si è addormentato, il soggiorno resta il peggiore di sempre nella mia vita da viaggiatrice. Prezzo esorbitante per 2 notti, 240€ + tasse. Da evitare assolutamente.

Di solito non scrivo recensioni ma questa volta non ho potuto farne a meno per il bene di tutti.||L’ingresso è davvero sgradevole trascurato sporco e vecchio con una puzza che si sente già dalle scale . Alla reception( se così vogliamo chiamarla )troviamo un bancone con una ragazza che non si riesce a vedere in quanto nascosta/seduta su una sedia in similpelle scuoiata e pendente da un lato, e oltretutto non parla neanche italiano.||||Tutto questo per rendere l’idea della situazione surreale che ho vissuto già solo entrando in questa struttura ||||La camera un disastro, non ci avrei dormito neanche gratis ma purtroppo ho dovuto anche pagare per farlo.||||Pulizia pessima in quanto abbiamo trovato il pavimento e mobili pieni di capelli,polvere e sporcizia varia.Il letto era composto da cuscini che puzzavano (ho usato una mia t-shirt come fodera )e da un materasso deformato e ricoperto da un solo lenzuolo (senza coprimaterasso).||||Il bagno puzza di fogna che inebria tutta la stanza,con condizioni igieniche anche qui precarie.Il lavandino è intasato, il copriwater rotto con il legno a vista e nella doccia c’è un porta saponi arrugginito.||||L’ultima chicca è il climatizzatore che è in camera, utilizzabile solo con un supplemento di 10 euro al giorno ma in realtà inutile in quanto ha i filtri intasati dalla polvere ed emanano aria dall’odore terribile.||||Sono stato così duro solo perché credo che non sia giusto pagare per trovarsi in condizioni così disastrate.||Non fidatevi delle foto che trovate su internet in quanto non rendono l’idea della situazione generale.||||||Allego foto del copriwater, filtri climatizzatore è porta sapone della doccia

4 stars for being just what we needed. A clean hostel with a good price within walking distance of all the museums and sites. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. It is and older building but the water pressure is great, everything worked, and the price was right. Not the Ritz, but just what we needed. 4 stars

BED BUGS!!! Left with bites everywhere. We thought they were mosquitoes until we found a bed bug in our stuff. Weird owners—not helpful, creepy (two young women travelers who did not get good vibes), and touched our stuff without asking. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Lovely hostel in a central location -- 10 minutes away from the Uffizi Gallery and old town hall (Palazzo Vecchio). There's also a supermarket across the road which is super handy. Our room was well furnished and looked so cute, as well as warm during rainy days. I think it was the nicest hostel room I've ever stayed in. The staff are very helpful, and leave a leaflet of 'Florence 101' in each room which is filled with information about shopping districts, public transport, tourist attractions and - most importantly - nice restaurants, gelaterias and cafes (we took a recommendation from this leaflet called Il Piazzaiulio, located near the hostel, and it was fantastic!). Would highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Florence!

Very good hostel, can't beat the location and prices. The shared room looks like a private (only four beds and one was a big couple's bed!) and the bathroom is small, but otherwise great. There's a minifridge with some stuff for sale in the room. Only downside is there are no lockers.

Nessuna pretesa, prezzo accetabile, posizione strategica... Firenze è piccola ma ricchissima di monumenti e siti da vedere, questo alberghetto o fittacamere come lo chiamano lì è in una posizione fantastica, vicino ai siti di maggiore interesse. Molto pulito se non si guarda dietro al televisore (cosa che non è detto si debba fare), confortevole la stanza con un bel lettone comodo, condizionatore, frigo bar, e bagno in stanza con doccia. I due ragazzi alla reception gentilissimi e disponibilissimi.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questo affittacamere, il quale si trova al secondo piano di un vecchio edificio, l'arredamento e datato e soprattutto maleodorante di vecchio ! Da rinnovare assolutamente. Il personale non sapeva parlare bene l'italiano e l'accoglienza non è stata assolutamente delle migliori. Le camere avevano una pulizia limitata. Pulite grossolanamente,non sporchissime ma neanche pulite .Sotto il letto ci saranno stati 3 cm di polvere. Dalle foto sembrava molto meglio. Il personale quindi deve assolutamente dare più attenzione alla pulizia e al cliente .

Service was kind of lacking, but the rooms are clean and nice.

The rooms are spacious and tidy, also really pretty, comfortable and well decorated. The double room has a structure of a hotel room, with TV, mini fridge and desk. The bathroom is comfortable, though the water temperature is a mess and the box a bit tiny. It is right beside a supermarket, and has a kitchen with microwave and all you need. It is in a quiet street that leads you straight to the uffizi and right beside the Arno River. It's perfect for a couple, but for a single person too. 10/10 would stay again.

Very nice place. It's more of a friendly hostel that others I've stayed in. The beds were lovely and not stacked on top of each other. It was very hard to find as it isn't well signposted and requires great sight to see the sign but that's ok. Also the hostel itself is located on the 2nd floor and requires a bit of walking up. Which if you have large bags may be tough. The location is nice and within easy walking distance of all the attractions in Florence. You might have to take a bus to the train station but that's not so bad.
But all in all I enjoyed my stay here very much.

The owner and also sometimes receptionist called the day we were on the road to tell us that our booking was actually an overbooking and proposed a downgrade to a room with a shared bathroom without any price change. After having refused such an option, I was told to call the platform that I used to book and fix my problem. He then sent a message saying again he had a room (without any specifics) but we would have to confirm it in the next 10 minutes (did not do such a thing as i already considered him untrustworthy - I will explain why : there was a concert of a famous Italian singer , Ligabue that same evening, so the prices went up as far as double in certain central hotels, which is normal, what is NOT normal is the reservations that were made beforehand this event with lower prices being cancelled on grounds of overbooking to make room for the ones that come the day of the event with higher pricing) .He called back again, i said i don't want to hear anything else that does not involve a better solution, he offended us, we hang up. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!

Considering this hostel wasn't the cheapest hostel we have found, we were slightly annoyed about having to pay an extra €10 euros per night for air con, which we ended up paying as the room was ridiculously warm. Other than that, the room was beautiful and had an en-suite, which was equally as stunning. We had a lovely stay, and as I said, the only down fall was the extra payment for the air con.

In pieno centro storico, in due minuti a piedi siete a ponte vecchio. Camere grandi e spaziose e pulite. Ottima soluzione per giovani viaggiatori. Non c'è ascensore attenzione!!

This hostel says in the description that all rooms have been recently renovated and their site contains many lovely pictures of these renovated rooms, but upon arrival my daughter and boyfriend were taken to another building where the room was tiny and not even close to what is pictured. This room was booked weeks prior to arrival so it was not last minute that they could say they were unexpectedly full. They took her reservation and in my opinion did not honor it. I would say to look elsewhere for lodging in Florence that is not completely deceptive as it was here.

It is nestled down an alley and it looks sketchy when you first find it. However, the room was nice, big and with a private bathroom and had rose petals on the bed when we got there. It was also cheap and in a good location.

Per passare un weekend diverso dal solito, io e la mia amica decidiamo per Firenze e prenotiamo una doppia presso Riverbank. All'arrivo la ragazza gentilissima e disponibilissima ci offre allo stesso prezzo al posto della nostra stanza (vicino al lungarno) un appartamento vicinissimo al duomo. Noi accettiamo e lei si offre di accompagnarci direttamente alla nuova sistemazione... una volta arrivate scopriamo che l'appartamento era davvero spazioso e confortevole, per non parlare della posizione centralissima fronte duomo! Sempre la stessa ragazza ci ha fornito una mappa completa con le principali attrazioni e ci ha segnalato ristoranti e supermarket per ogni evenienza. L'appartamento era pulito e non mancava di nulla, a partire dalla cucina arredata, al mega tv fino al bagno completo di phon e multiprese, per non parlare dei tantissimi libri e guide presenti all'ingresso! Davvero bello e conveniente, sicuramente se dovessimo tornare sceglieremmo di nuovo Riverbank!!

Abbiamo trovato ambienti puliti ad un passo dal centro storico.|La nostra nota negativa purtroppo ricade sul primo approccio. Alla reception la ragazza che ci ha accolti non trovava la nostra prenotazione. Abbiamo fatto fatica anche a capirci poiché non parlava italiano e neppure perfettamente inglese; la situazione non si risolveva neanche mostrando la mail di prenotazione. Lei si è scusata dicendoci che aveva cominciato a lavorare alla struttura da poco tempo. Abbiamo trascorso i nostri primi momenti a Firenze nel terrore di non avere un posto per la notte. Il titolare ci ha contattati nel primo pomeriggio e si è scusato del disguido. |Un altra nota negativa che è stata sottolineata anche nelle precedenti recensioni riguarda le pareti delle camere troppo sottili o comunque poco insonorizzate. Mi sono svegliata di notte a causa del rumore causato da alcuni tedeschi che rientravano nella loro camera. |Alcune cose da migliorare.

Jest to niedrogi nocleg, niemal w samym centrum, do głównych atrakcji są dosłownie dwa kroki, a i nad rzekę jest parę kroków. Ogólnie mogę mieć zastrzeżenia tylko do trudności w znalezieniu - trzeba wypatrzeć na ścianie domofon i napis z nazwą hostelu i czystość w kuchni - ale to chyba przywara Włochów ;)||Poza tym, szkoda że tylko właściciel gada po angielsku, a jego córka już nie, natomiast same pokoje, ich standard, czystość i tak jak powiedziałem bliskość, są jak najbardziej na plus ;)

Economico e centrale

대성당, 우피치 미술관 등이 가까이에 있어 위치가 좋습니다. 부엌을 사용할 수 있고 방 크기가 큽니다. 마트와 맛집이 가까이 있어 사용하기 편리합니다.
하지만 라디에이터가 잘 작동하지 않아 4박 중 2박은 춥게 보냈습니다. 그리고 수건을 매일 교체해 주지 않습니다. 간판이 작아 밤에는 찾아가기 힘들며 엘리베이터 없는 3층입니다. 수압이 낮아 씻기 불편합니다. 하지만 따뜻한 물은 잘 나옵니다.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti. La sola posizione di questo "affittacamere" merita 5 stelle. La camera da tre letti è risultata spaziosa, pulita e calda (fuori temperature bassissime). Gli arredi, i bagni sono vecchiotti ma il risultato finale è confortevole. |Non c'è possibilità di colazione ma in camera abbiamo trovato un bollitore elettrico e tutto l'occorrente per fare te e tisane. Amazing location, clean and spacious rooms.

Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni in questa struttura.||||Possiamo dirci veramente soddisfatti. Accoglienza da parte del titolare molto buona. Una menzione particolare la merita la nostra stanza, spaziosa, munita di tutti le comodità e connessione internet disponibile e gratuita.||||E' ubicato vicinissimo al Ponte alle Grazie quindi vicinissimo agli Uffizi, Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria e tanti altri posti di questa incantevole città.||||Lo consiglio vivamente.

My friends and I stayed here for one night during a week-long trip to Italy, but we ended up wishing we'd stayed longer! The three of us were lucky enough to stay in a gorgeous apartment overlooking the Duomo--for the price of a hostel! We arrived early despite having a bit of trouble finding the hostel (directions were clear, the door is just easy to miss), but the owner was very accommodating and not only showed us to and around our apartment (a 5-7 minute walk from the hostel itself) but also helped us with our luggage and gave us a map with restaurant, gelato, and sightseeing recommendations. He even gave us the name of a restaurant we could get a discount at for staying at Riverbanks! :-)||The owner was warm and welcoming, and the apartment itself was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We were provided with towels, the shower was hot, and there was even a kitchenette with a dining area! I would definitely recommend this hostel, especially the apartment we stayed in, to anyone planning a trip to Florence.

It's central, but that's about as much as is good about it. The guy at the front desk was incredibly rude and not happy to help us at all. The place itself needs some significant renovation to make it pleasant. There are much better options in Florence, I'd avoid if possible.

Overall, this hostel is very average. Fairly clean, fairly comfortable private rooms and OK service from the guy who works up front. Let's face it, you don't stay at a hostel for comfort and amenities, so this shouldn't disappoint. It's biggest selling point is the location. Easy walk to everything including Ufizzi, Duomo and train station.

Smelly sinks, shower. Lovely-not! The room was a good size, it had a reasonably priced minibar - bottled water cost no more than in the shops. It wasn't the friendliest place when we arrived, but they did help with our bags when leaving and called a taxi for us. The location was good. It's not disabled friendly, not their fault as it's an old building, but the stairs up to the place are steep and you need to climb two stories, and there isn't an elevator.
