Tariffe sempre concorrenziali e servizio di prim’ordine.
1. they gave me fiat which was in a pathetic condition.
2. the car was not clean and damaged badly. i asked him to give me another car, he said they have only that one. Take it or leave.
3. we had to get the full coverage and it cost us double than the price of renting the car. He told me that even if the car had any new scratch, I would have to pay EUR1000. Since, the car had so many scratches and a few things broken, not clean, we had no option but to pay for the insurance.
4. Also, on return the manager said everything is ok and he will send me the receipt. He din’t send me the receipt and to top of it they overcharged me from what was discussed
5. brakes were noisy and not working properly. it could have been life threating for us in Amalfi
I would suggest not to rent a car from here.

We rented a car from this place few years back. Horrible, Terrible, Hideous, Rude, disrespectful and completely unworthy place to rent a car from. The staffs are absolutely ignorant, rude and under-educated street thugs. After travelling all over the world, I have never had such an upsetting encounter from rental car place.
This staff threatened me of punching in the face. When i asked for the manager, he refused. when I asked for his name, he refused. When I asked for the owner, he claimed he was the owner of the Avis. At the end, I think i saw his name tag somehow says “Antonio”.
My only regret is not to video record this incident. He also refused to refund the money although it was our right.
In fact, during this course of disrespectful action from him, I saw other customers who were extremely unhappy with him as well.
I have lived in Italy such a long time and yet never experienced such an ignorant and rude person. What a shame for Italy to have such a person. And What a shame for Avis to hire such a person.
After all this, we never wanted to rent a car from Avis company in general. What a disappointment. Shame on you guys. If there was minus stars to give, I would not hesitate.

My wife and I recently rented a car from the Salerno franchise of Avis and had a terrible experience. We had booked a small car as we were driving along the Amalfi coast and they would only give us a huge car. Little did we know this was only where the problems stated.
First off when receiving the car the Avis employee parked it in the middle of a busy street and quickly ran back inside the shop, hoping we wouldn’t inspect the vehicle for damage and would just drive off. However, while dodging traffic, on inspection the vehicle had significant damage. This was particularly evident on the passenger side front bumper, where there had previously been a large impact (photo attached to review). There was also significant damage to the paintwork with regards to scratches.
Once I retrieved a very reluctant Avis employee from the shop after much arguing he agreed to note the damage to the front passenger side bumper, but refused to note any of the other damage. He also refused to change the vehicle or provide a small vehicle like we ordered. We were told we had to accept the vehicle as we had already signed the rental agreement for it.
As a result we drove around the corner to a safe location (a large car park) to properly inspect the vehicle and noted all of the damage. We phoned Avis London who were concerned both about the damage to the vehicle and the Avis employees attitude in Salerno. The Avis consultant in London noted down all the damage over the phone and copied a complete report to both the office in Salerno and the office in Naples (where we were due to leave the car).
On leaving the car in Naples we had no further issues due to the help of the Avis consultant in London’s report. Also Avis corporately deserves credit for how they handled this challenging situation with both the London consultant and the employee in Naples being very professional, considerate and importantly helpful. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for our experience in Salerno.
The franchise in Salerno clearly just want to get ride of damaged vehicles and hope they can get the customers to pay at other locations. If you need to rent a car in Salerno DO NOT USE THIS AVIS OFFICE.
When we left the car in Naples the Avis employee was very surprised a car would be rented to a customer with such significant damage.
Both the office in Naples and London deserve praise for their help and support. But under no circumstances trust the Avis office in Salerno.

Chegamos meio dia, horário do início da reserva e logo começou o drama.
1- disseram que minha locação feita pela Mobility não previa alguns seguros. Mostrei o serviço contratado e lá estavam todos seguros, motorista adicional, etc...
Fez uma cara de poucos amigos mas aceitou.
2- disse que não tinha o carro e que ou eu esperava até as 15:00hrs ou pagava upgrade de 12 euros por dia.
Argumentei que a responsabilidade de não ter o carro era deles, pois reservei para aquele dia , naquele horário das 12:00hrs (meio-dia) e que eles teriam que dar outro carro pra mim.
Na hora levou esse carro embora e disse que não podia fazer nada e eu teria que esperar até as 15:00hrs pois o carro chegaria de Nápoles.
Muito chateado e me sentindo enganado disse então que aceitava pagar o upgrade. Pra meu espanto aí disse que não tinham mais o carro disponível. ACREDITAM?
Fazia dois minutos que tinham o carro.
3- esperei até 14:30hrs para receber o carro imundo, tendo que ficar calado pois já estava com medo que sequer me dessem o carro que já estava pago.
Paguei adiantado no Brasil
Não recomendo de forma alguma a loja da Avis de Salerno.

Io noleggio spesso a Salerno e dopo tante agenzie finalmente ho trovato l'agenzia giusta
Serietà e puntualità e disponibilità sono il loro forte.
Prezzi bassi e servizio al top
"C'est ce prix ou rien" donc rien pour moi.
Currently, this agency doesn't accept special code that are suppose to work in all agencies. Seems to be a trap.
"This is the price or you have nothing" Well, nothing for me.
The place takes on way too much and they are vastly understaffed.
Do not ever book from here.
