Utterly and completely fantastic. Had the slow poached egg for starter (I had no idea you could do *that* with an egg), beef fillet for main and the special cake for dessert. My other half had calf cheek and wild boar with polenta. Every bite was wonderful, the service was great, and we will definitely be coming back when in florence again. Can't recommend enough, especially for the price.

Bellissimo ristorante, molto curato e ricercato negli interni, così come nella cucina, dove i piatti proposti alcuni sono molto semplici, ma fatti e presentati a regola d’arte, in più personale e proprietario, sono molto qualificati e allo stesso tempo alla mano, quindi consiglio vivamente di andarci, perché qui sarete come a casa vostra, ma allo stesso tempo sarete viziati, da dei piatti che sono una gioia per gli occhi e per il palato.

Culinaria is a wonderful place to eat that is separate from the normal touristy area of Florence! The food is well worth the walk across the river and it is an especially beautiful walk as well. The food is simply fantastic. All of the dishes I ate were fresh and looked like art! The bistrot is a hidden gem with some of the best food in Florence.

Così si fa: menu ristretto ma di qualità. Buono l'impiattamento, gli abbinamenti ed il gusto. Discreta la birra "artigianale", eccessivamente aromatica. Buona la cura e l'attenzione del personale. Gli spazi sono un po' angusti, ma... quello è il locale!.. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!

Siamo stati a cena presso questo ristorante consigliato da amici. Devo dire che è stata una cena che non dimenticherò. Il personale è stato da subito accogliente e ci ha fatti sentire come a casa, tutti molto cordiali e competenti. Già a partire dagli antipasti si percepiva l'altissima qualità delle materie prime, che con abbinamenti veramente azzeccati e innovativi, ci hanno colpiti in maniera sorprendente. Di seguito i primi e i secondi hanno ricalcato l'ottima fattura dei prodotti utilizzati e l'elevata l'abilità dello chef nella realizzazione delle pietanze che arrivavano al tavolo. Ogni portata era spiegata nel dettaglio dai camerieri e una cosa che mi ha colpito era la presenza dello chef in sala che raccontava quella che era l'armonia del piatto. Tutto poi si è concluso con il dolce veramente delizioso.
Insomma una cena da ricordare e consiglio vivamente a tutti di provare questo ristorante.

Sono stata al bistrot sabato scorso. Non avevo prenotato e nell'attesa del tavolo ci sono stati gentilmente offerti due bicchieri di prosecco. I piatti scelti erano davvero ottimi e si percepiva l'ottima qualità degli ingredienti. Il servizio è stato rapido e il cameriere che ci ha servito (da quello che ho capito al suo primo giorno di lavoro) è stato molto gentile e professionale. Lo consiglio vivamente, ci tornerò di sicuro!

A great and cosy restaurant with the head chef taking such a good care of his guests! Food was perfectly done, great atmosphere and some thematic interior. The waitress was very kind and helpful with the menu. Most of all , I am leaving this review as the chef/owner opened his restaurant opened it just for me and my company at 2 pm in the afternoon when most restaurants are closed in Florence. Highly appreciated!

Friendly staff and excellent food

Our first meal in Florence, mid afternoon and badly jet-lagged. Great little spot, friendly and helpful service to the dopey Anglos, courtesy appy from the kitchen, excellent house wines. We had to turn down the offer of limoncello and go back to our apartment to collapse, but we will hopefully be back. Recommended. Mille grazie!

My girlfriend and I decided to eat our last dinner in Florence here after our tour guide suggested it. The food was great! The owner was so welcoming and the friendliest! Our hotel was a bit out of the way to the location but it was we'll worth it.

A very cozy & friendly place. Owners served food themselves and did their best to make our stay here not only saturating but also pleasant. And they give various perks such as bread plates & avocado cream for free :-D

Awful service, limited menu, not very welcoming. Service was slow and didn’t even give us bread to start. Portions were tiny for the price

Culinaria il vero ristorante cool dell'oltrarno fiorentino: esplosione di gusto e accuratezza nella preparazione dei piatti fanno di culinaria un posto speciale un equilibrato connubbio di raffinatezza e semplicitá che conferisce alla cucina il sapore antico del rinascimento fiorentino unito alla modernitá del cibo d'avanguardia. Il tutto è condito con la simpatia e la lungimiranza del proprietario e l'efficenza di tutto il personale. Come potrei non consigliarlo andateci e non potrete che uscire piu che soddisfatti.

I just came from the visit of this restaurant with my girlfiend. We visit a lot of really good restaurants. But do you keep restaurant in mind just because of the good food?! Nah! It is the whole experience if you visit a restaurant. And trust me, my girlfriend and I felt like we are visiting friends for dinner although we've been there the first time. The restaurant is led by two brothers and these are two of a kind. We felt in love with this restaurant. A lovely place with lovely owners and really delicious and tasty food. Wish we would have more places like this in Germany where we live. If you read this (the owners): Thanks for having us today. And be sure that we will come back the next time when we are around in this area!! All the best to you. We felt very comfortable at your place. And thanks for the orange lemonade ;-)

The best octopus I've ever had. Amazing, soft taste. Meals are not very big, but starter and main meal is more than enough and the taste is something you will really enjoy

Fermata per un pranzo veloce in due, polpo piastrato con insalata di spinaci crudi e salsa di fagioli davvero molto buono, tenero e ben cotto, tagliolini fatti a mano con salsa di pomodoro fresca e cuore di burrata, altrettanto.
Forse solo l'Hummus con verdure crude preso come antipasto mancava un po' di sapore, sarebbero bastati aglio e spezie ma capisco che non a tutti piaccia.
Sono del quartiere e conosco anche i ragazzi del ristorante, il posto è veramente carino e ben curato, informale e originale ma al tempo stesso adatto a situazioni più importanti, pochi posti interni e alcuni fuori con vista su piazza Tasso, coperti ovviamente. Disponibilità anche solo per un bicchiere di vino con un piattino di freschissimi stuzzichini.
Menù realizzato con competenza, anche per vegetariani o vegani, materie prime fresche che variano di giorno in giorno (lista degli allergeni completissima sul retro del menù). Forse l'unica cosa che posso imputargli negativamente è la mancanza di una nota "fantasiosa" nei piatti, un po troppo easy diciamo, col passare del tempo però si sono evoluti e sempre di più, cercano di creare un loro stile culinario.
Lo consiglio assolutamente a tutti, residenti e non, sia per una cena con amici che per un pranzo veloce.
Prezzi... 2€ per coperto e acqua, polpo 20€, tagliolini 12€ se non sbaglio.
Vino ottimo, sempre scelto al bicchiere anche con buonissime sorprese.

Piatti tipici toscani, ottimi salumi e dolci di qualità eccelsa.

Locale piccolo, adatto per cena intima...personale squisito, e i piatti che abbiamo preso sono preparati con cura e molto buoni... Lo consiglio!

The staff was very friendly and gave us the right information about the menu and the wine.
The food was fresh, good looking and tasteful. Alsof the wine was very good.
We finished with a pana cotta which was delicious.
We would definitely recommand this place. It's in a place with almost no tourists, perfect in a city like Florence where there are tourists everywhere :-).

Wonderful starter which was vegetables and hummus. Our main course, was the tomato pasta which was also amazing! And to top it off they recommended a glass of local white wine which was so tasteful! Highly recommend here.
