Ambiente accogliente e personale gentile
Praticamente stupendo
Ma il cornetto a 1.60 mi sembra troppo
Pasticceria Torti is a small but nice bar, just 3-4 minutes walking from Sesto Rondò subway station(M1 - red line).
It’s quite a historical place for people that like high quality, but still reasonably affordable, patisserie products.
The place is pretty minimal but cozy and, especially during warm seasons, they add few seats outside too.
The times I went there was just to have a coffee and some pastries, despite they have a much larger offerings, for example semi freddo, panettone (during Christmas period) and cakes.
The quality is indeed superior: the coffee is one of the best coffee you can drink in the area and the pastries are really well done.
You can definitely appreciate the higher quality for their usage of sugar: in fact, my feeling has always been that they put just the right amount of sugar in pastries to avoid to cover the original taste of the high quality ingredients they use.
For example, once we bought one with milky cream that, typically, in the bars is very sweet. In that case, it wasn’t, simply because the pastry chef that prepared it put attention in not to cover the taste of the good milk with the sugar one. And the result was indeed delicious.
I guess also the other kind of sweets and desserts they offer have the same quality.
In the bar you can also have a drink during the happy hours even if I’ve never been there for that. In any case, considering the amount of customers that is there for that, I can guess it’s well done too.
Summarizing, I give to Pasticceria Torti 5/5 because it’a able to match the very high quality of pastries and coffee with the price of a normal bar.
